Sealed Road Condition Data Collection and Modelling

Brief

MidCoast Council requires the services of an experienced contractor with suitable personnel, equipment and resources to undertake a sealed road condition survey for our network. An alternate proposal where survey equipment is provided for Council to drive the network may be also be submitted. The primary survey includes: • High definition imagery of the road network suitable for post-capture defect identification and measurement • Roughness and deformation measurement by use of laser profilometer • Pavement Condition Index • Seal Condition Index The primary objective of this project is to provide a single uniform condition assessment of road pavement; a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and a Seal Condition Index (SCI) for the entire MidCoast sealed road network including carparks.
