Epoxy floor Repairs of all MSAC Plant Rooms (17 Nos.)

Brief

Preparation and Epoxy + Anti Trip treatment for 17 Plantroom locations withing Melbourne Sport and Aquatics Centre MSAC has many plantrooms used for a variety of different reasons. These range from our Pool Plantrooms, Mechanical Plantrooms and Air Handling Unit (AHU) Plantrooms. These plantrooms are harsh environments with fluctuating exposure to moisture and chemicals. Over time the concrete floors have deteriorated making them a slipping hazard, hard to move loads around and difficult to clean. Non-slip epoxy coatings have been recommended for concrete surfaces to enhance safety, durability, create a protective barrier against damage, ease to clean and improve aesthetics. Currently only the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pool Plantrooms have had an application of non-slip epoxy. This was applied in 2018, making the area overdue for a re-application.
