Davidson Park Nature Play Space/Public Art and Amenities Shelter

Brief

Council is seeking market expertise to design and construct a waterplay and recreation environment at Davidson Park, Beaudesert, Queensland – the ‘Davidson Park Nature Play, Public Art and Amenities Shelter Project’). Project Budget is $850,000 The objective is to deliver a high quality, inclusive, destination level nature play, recreation and public art outcome that: • Reflects the Scenic Rim’s identity, including mountains, waterways, agriculture and biodiversi-ty. • Integrates play, storytelling, public art and landscape into a cohesive civic place. • Achieves high play value consistent with Council’s Playground Strategy (2019) (Attachment E) objectives for destination level playgrounds. • Provides durable, low maintenance infrastructure suitable for long term public use and Council asset management.
