The Laos Australia Institute (LAI) is the Australian Government's human resource development (HRD) program in Laos, providing scholarships, alumni engagement, short courses and trainings, technical advice and support to the public sector. The LAI Phase 4 (LAI 4) design builds upon the achievements and lessons learnt from previous LAI phases and incorporates updates to reflect evolving priorities of Australia and Laos, with the goal to strengthen HRD that promotes inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development in Laos.
