| WA-DOT413224 | Westport is seeking an Infrastructure Program Director to oversee the establishment of program integration, controls, quality and facilitation/program-wide enablers for the next Stage of Westport. This is your chance to leave a lasting impact on one of WA’s largest infrastructure programs. The consultant will bring considerable experience in, and deliver, infrastructure program management approaches that will drive good governance, collaboration and quality across the multiple projects within Westport, will imbed strategic direction in day-to-day work, and take a lead role in facilitating key strategic interfaces, land requirements and collective activities such as key material supply. You will advise and collaborate with other executive leadership team members, and in particular work closely with the Principal Projects Directors for both Marine and Ports, and Road and Rail, who are responsible for infrastructure package delivery. The consultant will deliver team management, mentoring and development both within the Program Management division and elsewhere in the Westport structure, and will provide advice into procurement planning for major contracts to enhance their success. The consultant will work at or near full time in the Westport Offices for approximately 6 months and be part of the executive leadership team (with restricted decision-making authority as a contractor). This role is being procured and is ‘interim’ as the State government considers the scope of the next stage of Westport after completion of the Business Case. The Westport Program will respond to that direction in 2025 including establishing the right workforce and long-term staffing of this role as required. | (inactive) Department of Transport | $772,200 |
