The three (3) PathWest sites that offer Immunohistochemical staining (IHC) include: QEII Medical Centre (QEII); Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH); and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) PathWest, through this Request is seeking an automated immunostaining solution to upgrade and replace the existing fleet as required. In addition, post warranty service and maintenance, training and the on-going supply of consumables and reagents are also required. | WA-PWST20193691 | PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA (‘PathWest’) is seeking offers for the supply of up to two (2) High Throughput Extraction Instruments with post warranty service and maintenance and the supply of associated reagents, consumables and accessories. The Molecular Diagnostics Section within the Microbiology Discipline requires automated extraction platforms to purify DNA and RNA from clinical samples. The nucleic acid is then utilised in a number of commercial and/or in-house methods for the detection of infectious diseases. There are molecular testing facilities at the larger metropolitan laboratories located at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) and QEII Medical Centre (QEII), each of which has a MagNA Pure 96 high throughput extraction instrument. PathWest has identified a requirement to purchase up to two (2) high throughput extraction instruments. The first instrument will be purchased upfront for FSH as a replacement for two (2) existing MagNA Pure LC instruments. The second instrument may be purchased within the Term of the Head Agreement to replace the existing MagNA Pure 96 Instrument at FSH.
