| WA-HSS202515295 | Clinical Incident Management System (CIMS) Background information: Clinical incident and complaints management are critical components of clinical governance. Currently Datix Web allows the Department of Health to monitor and manage patient safety including healthcare acquired infections, medication incidents, falls and clinical deterioration including mental health deterioration. All of these are critical mandatory components of Health Service Accreditation Scheme as required by the National Health Reform Agreement with the Commonwealth. The WA Health system has used the Datix Web patient safety application since 2014. The Datix CIMS and CFM modules are critical components of patient safety and clinical governance in the WA Health system. The CIMS project is for the lifecycle replacement of the current Datix CIMS/CFM system with a more contemporary patient safety and quality improvement application. The current Datix CIMS/CFM is a web-based enterprise platform for reporting and managing clinical incidents and consumer feedback – the Datix CIMS/CFM are part of a suite of applications referred to by the vendor as ‘Datix Web.’ The replacement system being offered as a solution by the vendor RLDatix will be delivered as a cloud-based software-as-a service (SaaS) model – referred to as DatixCloudIQ (DCIQ). Resource required: Currently the Program needs the service of a Project Manager to help with managing the CIMS project. The resource needs to have the following skill set and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: • HSS project planning; • Engagement, sharing of information and coordinating ICT approvals throughout the project to ensure visibility and accountability; • Project Management functions, for instance, prepare and deliver project documentation like, PID, Project Status Reports, Project Plan, maintain & manage project scope, risk, issues, budget, and project schedule to support the broader project management governance, delivery and reporting requirements; • Negotiate resource provision, or HSS ICT services to complete agreed scope elements; • Collaborate to successfully deliver the HSS ICT work stream with the Business Project Lead and vendor Implementation Partner; • significant demonstrated hands-on experience in large-scale ICT environment and WA Health Sector in particular is desirable. | Health Support Services | $179,124 |
| WA-HSS202615952 | Background: The Mt Lawley Hospital ICT Commissioning Program supports the ICT transition of Mt Lawley Hospital from a private entity into the WA Health environment. The HSS ICT Business Unit supports the delivery of solution development, implementation, transition, and ongoing operational support for WA Health’s clinical and corporate systems. This includes: Strategic planning and architecture Management of ICT networks, applications, and infrastructure ICT service delivery and customer support ICT security, risk management, and protection of patient information To support the successful delivery of the Program and ensure a smooth ICT transition, the engagement of an experienced Project Manager is required. Resource Requirement The Program seeks the services of an experienced Project Manager to oversee and support key ICT-related workstreams. The resource will be required to provide specialist project management capability and ensure effective coordination across multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities The Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: Leading and supporting HSS project planning activities Coordinating engagement, communication, and ICT approval processes to ensure visibility, accountability, and timely decision?making for implementation Delivering core project management functions, including: Development of project documentation (e.g., PID, Project Plan, Status Reports) Management of project scope, schedule, risk, issues, and budget Ensuring compliance with program governance, reporting, and delivery requirements Negotiating resource allocation and HSS ICT services required to complete agreed scope elements Collaborating with the Business Project Lead and the vendor Implementation Partner to deliver the HSS ICT workstream Applying demonstrated hands?on experience within large?scale ICT environments; experience in the WA Health sector is highly desirable Required Skill Set The Project Manager is required to have at least the following skills and experience: Extensive experience delivering complex ICT implementation or transition programs; Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, governance, and delivery within large ICT environments; Demonstrated ability to manage scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and project change; Experience coordinating ICT design, architecture, security, and technical approval processes (HSS experience is highly desirable); Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and communication skills across both business and technical domains; Proven ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, implementation partners, and cross?functional teams; Experience working within WA Health or large health?sector ICT environments (highly desirable); Strong documentation and reporting capability (PIDs, Project Plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, financial tracking, etc.); and Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver within agreed timelines Engagement Term Duration: Approximately 5 months initially, with the possibility of extension subject to budget availability Engagement Model: Time and materials The requested resource is essential to maintaining program momentum and ensuring the ICT transition for Mt Lawley Hospital is delivered safely, effectively, and within required timeframes. | Health Support Services | $169,400 |
