| WA-WAPOL17925 | The Western Australia Police Force operates across the largest policing jurisdiction in the world. However, only 26 per cent of Western Australia is currently serviced by either radio and/or mobile phone networks, leaving vast areas of the State without reliable communications infrastructure. This presents a significant risk to police officers and community safety. To mitigate this risk, and to ensure equitable, state-wide access to lifesaving voice and data capabilities, regardless of location, the Anywhere Communications Project was established. The project aims to future-proof police communications, and support operational policing across Western Australia. To date, the project has delivered significant outcomes, including the deployment of a fleet of routers utilising Starlink's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) technology. This capability provides reliable, high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity and essential communications services, delivering maximum geographical coverage across regional Western Australia. The project is expected to be finalised by June 2027. The intent of this contract is to secure qualified Project Management and Solution Architecture services through the critical final stages of delivery.
