| WA-HSS20229847 | Psychiatric Services Online Information System (PSOLIS) is the primary source of clinical information for public mental health services across Western Australia. PSOLIS has several fundamental deficiencies that impact Mental Health clinicians, their patients, and downstream users of Mental Health data. Feedback provided by the PSOLIS Management Group indicates that the impacts are substantial and are more commonly experienced than not. Clinicians are the most significantly affected, by not being able to gain access to essential clinical data at the time it is most needed. The delays and rework that this causes has a direct impact on patients, who are asked to wait, or to repeat examinations and assessments, or who are treated without all clinical information being available. The time inefficiency for clinical staff alone has been conservatively estimated by the Health Service Providers (HSPs) to be collectively as much as 450,000 hours per annum. Alternative methods are used to gather and share data outside of PSOLIS, which leads to deficiencies in national and state-wide reporting, including compliance monitoring, and a loss of standardisation. Reporting bodies such as the Mental Health Unit (MHU) address this through additional processes and resources to collate the data they need. Over the next 12 months, the PSOLIS Project will deploy several releases to address these challenges. HSS is seeking to engage a suitably experienced resource to perform Business Analysis and Stakeholder engagement for the Project. The following listed the roles of the resource and preferably the resource has demonstrated working experience in these areas: Essential requirements: Previous HSS Business Analysis experience 10+ year as Business Analysis experience Experienced in gathering, define, and document business requirements, specification, and acceptance criteria Experienced in writing Business Case and handling Gateway Review reporting.
