| WA-MHC2022160 | The Immediate Drug Assistance Coordination Centre (IDACC) has been developed in response to Recommendation 29 of the MAP Taskforce Report and is aligned to the findings of the AOD Crisis Intervention System Service Model. The IDACC is designed to support individuals experiencing a crisis related to their AOD use to immediately access care and support in a coordinated and seamless way. This Request document is the Request for Tender to appoint a service provider to deliver the service and a suitable property. Offers will also be considered for the IDACC service provision only, if a suitable property has not been identified by the Preferred Respondent. If the Preferred Respondent has not identified a suitable property, then the MHC may provide the Preferred Respondent with potential suitable properties identified by the MHC through a separate Request for Information process or other means for the Preferred Respondent?s consideration. | WA-MHC743 | The Mental Health Commission (MHC) is seeking to expand the number of beds in the South West of Western Australia by up to three (3) low medical withdrawal/stabilisation beds and up to 30 residential alcohol and drug treatment beds. The beds will complement and build on the existing system of AOD treatment and support services across the State. It is the intention of the MHC to purchase a mix of services targeting Aboriginal people, youth and adults. The provision of services specifically catering for Aboriginal people or youth may be achieved by the provision of dedicated beds within a larger service or by developing a standalone service specifically for the target group There is no capital funding available for these beds and it is expected that service will be able to commence operation from 1 January 2019 with the possibility to negotiate an operational start date up to 30 June 2019 if required. | WA-MHC727 | The Mental Health Commission (MHC) are seeking to purchase up to nine additional Transitional Housing and Support Program (THASP) services. THASP provides community based, independent living for people exiting residential alcohol and other drug (AOD) use problems. residential treatment programs. A key feature of the THASP initiative is ongoing support for clients to help with personal recovery and relapse prevention. Support programs offered through THASP include counseling and support; assistance to integrate back into the community including undertaking education, training and employment; independent living skills; and assistance to identify suitable long term housing. Respondents are encouraged to consider opportunities for co-designed, innovative and cost effective models of service delivery to remove known barriers to engagement and retention in treatment. Provision of a suitable house is a mandatory requirement as the available funding is operational only and there is no allowance for capital expenditure. The provision of service by experienced, accredited service providers will ensure the quality of the services and provide a continuum of care for people as they exit residential care. The service will be provided to a complex client group with significant AOD use problems. All services must meet the needs of target groups as specified in the Western Australian Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Services Plan 2015-2025 (The Plan).
