| WA-DOT416520 | The Department of Transport is responsible for maintenance dredging, as and when required, at over 30 WA sites which include: 25 maritime facilities controlled or managed by the Department, of which 11 have required maintenance dredging at varying frequencies over the past 10 years; Ocean Reef Boat Harbour under a management deed with the City of Joondalup; A number of regional waterways within the Swan River, Canning River, Peel Harvey Estuary and Hardy Inlet; and Sand bypassing across the Mandurah Ocean Entrance, Dawesville Ocean Entrance and Port Geographe canals entrance. It is the intention of the Department, through this Request for Tender (RFT) process, to award a sole contract for the provision of dredging and related delivery works for an initial period of six (6) years. There are two (2) x two (2) year extension options exercisable by the Department based on the contractor providing satisfactory performance and value for money. The total value of the dredging and related delivery works, as and when required, over the ten (10) year period is estimated at $66,000,000 (including GST). This RFT is a follow on from the Invitation To Register Interest No DOT416520ITRI. | (inactive) Department of Transport | $70,000,000 |
| WA-DOT409021 | The Department of Transport?s Maritime Business Unit has identified the need to replace up to 17 Navigational Aids around Rottnest Island at various locations. These asset replacements have been deemed necessary following previous maintenance inspections and diving reports (subsea) which has confirmed the need to replace each asset. The installation of these new assets is essential for maintaining safe navigational access to Rottnest Island. This Tender is a recall of a previous Request for Tender (RFT) No DOT410820. The previous RFT failed to receive a tender that was assessed as value for money. To encourage Tenderers to provide value for money options, a significant number of changes have been made to the previous RFT. | (inactive) Department of Transport | $2,309,111 |
