| WA-DBCA440GT0932024 | DBCA requires the supply and delivery of fire-fighting chemicals (class ‘A’ foam concentrate, powdered long term fire retardant and fuel gelling agent) on an ‘as required’ basis. These fire-fighting chemicals are used across DBCA’s fire management activities for bushfire suppression, and prescribed burning purposes, including aerial and ground applications on and off DBCA’s tenure. DBCA is also seeking Offers for the dry hire of associated retardant mixing and storage equipment to improve the efficiency of use of the fire-fighting chemicals. DBCA requires the below Goods and related Services under the following categories: Category 1 – Class ‘A’ Foam Concentrate for ground and aerial application; Category 2 – Powdered Long Term Fire Retardant for aerial application; Category 3 – Fuel Gelling Agent; and Category 4 (optional) – Dry Hire of Associated Equipment (one portable retardant batch mixer, two 24,000L portable International Organization for Standards (ISO)-compliant tanks and associated equipment for mixing and storage of mixed retardant product (DBCA personnel, support agencies or third-party personnel will operate the equipment to mix and store the retardant chemical). A single Respondent will be awarded to each category. A Respondent may bid for one or more or all of the categories. Noting that Category 4 (Dry Hire of Associated Equipment) is optional and DBCA may or may not award this category at its sole discretion. The resultant Head Agreement will operate as a Standing Offer with Orders for the fire-fighting chemicals (categories 1, 2 and 3) placed on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term of the Head Agreement. There will be no guarantee of any value or quantity of Orders.
