Currently Datix Web enables the Department of Health to monitor and manage patient safety including healthcare acquired infections, medication incidents, falls and clinical deterioration including mental health deterioration. All of these are critical mandatory components of Health Service Accreditation Scheme as required by the National Health Reform Agreement with the Commonwealth. WA Health has utilised the Datix Web patient safety application since 2014. The Datix CIMS and CFM modules are critical components of patient safety and clinical governance across the system. The CIMS Project will replace the existing Datix CIMS/CFM system with a contemporary, cloud?based patient safety and quality improvement application - DatixCloudIQ (DCIQ) - delivered under a Software?as?a?Service (SaaS) model by RLDatix.
