LIMITED SOURCING
To fulfill its obligations under the Corruption , Crime & Misconduct Act 2003 , the Corruption and Crime Commission (the Commission) requires all its officers, along with selected contractors, to hold a national security clearance at the appropriate level. As a State Government Agency, the Commission has the option to either use the services of the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) to conduct its own security clearances and/or engage its own contract vetting assessors. In accordance with the current Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), there are a series of security clearance levels. Currently the security clearance assessments required at the Commission will primarily be for Negative Vetting Level 1 and a limited number of Negative Vetting Level 2 and Baseline security clearances. In addition to conducting initial security clearances, additional vetting work may be required, including security clearance upgrades and revalidations. All vetting activity must be conducted in accordance with and at the Australian Government standard (i.e. PSPF) and comply with all relevant legislation and the security, privacy, and policy requirements of the Commission. The Commission has a need to engage a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to deliver compliant security vetting processes.
