The Contractor is to ensure all grills are reinstated at the completion of Work inside the boxes each day. Where grills are missing, Queensland Rail will provide a grill/s for installation by the Contractor. 2. Replace defective rivets with huck bolts and defective steel members with new galvanised steel members Optional Items to be approved by Queensland Rail: 3. Design and construct temporary transom deck. The temporary transom deck is required for Transom Replacement and re-railing works on both up and down mains. The transom replacement and re-railing works shall be undertaken by Queensland Rail. Once Queensland Rail has completed the transom replacement & re-railing works, the Contractor shall remove the temporary transom deck and associated items such as scaffolding. The design load criteria for the transom deck is five (5) kpa. 4. Provision and Installation of permanent gantry rails to underside of the bridge to support planned asset renewal work for each span (for a total of two (2) gantry rail.
